The University of Kent's strong international impact is based on our external networks, partnerships with leading universities in Europe and around the world, and our staff, students and alumni. We launched our Internationalisation Strategy in 2007. Since then, we have reinforced our reputation as the UK's European university and further developed a network of international partnerships worldwide.

  • Kent is ranked 20th in both the Guardian University Guide 2014 and 2015, 28thin the Sunday Times University League Table 2013 and 22nd in the Complete University Guide 2015.

  • The University is ranked among the top 80 'under 50' universities by the Times Higher Education – a celebration of universities 'that have reached the top of the global academy in decades, not centuries'

  • In the Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2014, Kent is ranked 17th in the UK for research intensity out of 122 non-specialist institutions.

  • Kent has world-leading research across all its subject areas, and 97% of the University’s research is of international quality.

  • Kent in top ten for overall student satisfaction in the National Student Survey 2013 (of all publicly funded, multi-faculty institutions), being in a select group to score 90% or above
